Kaolin Mahjong privacy policy
Your games
The board you are playing, your statistics, your daily calendar and your settings are stored on your phone, in the app's private storage. They are not sent to us or to anyone else. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data deletes them.
Advertising
Kaolin Mahjong is free and shows ads through Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, the AdMob software in the app collects device identifiers (such as the advertising ID), approximate location derived from your IP address, and app interaction and performance data. This is collected by Google, not by us, and handled under Google's privacy policy; how Google uses information from apps that use its services explains more.
Where the law requires it (for example in the EEA, the UK and some US states) the app asks for your consent before any ad is requested, and you can change your choice at any time under Settings, Privacy choices. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone's settings.
What we collect
Nothing. There are no accounts, no profile and no analytics of our own, and the app does not talk to any server of ours. Crash reports you may see in Google Play come from Google Play's own reporting.
Backup
If Android backup is on, your board in progress, statistics and settings are included in your phone's backup to your Google account, as with other apps.
Children
Kaolin Mahjong is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is published on this page with a new effective date.
